The Murray Irrigators Support Group Is an information and technology based support group.
Formed to bridge the gap between the farming community, industry and government to create productive partnerships between MISG,the farming community and the private sector, i.e. alliances with corporations, foundations, individuals, the farming community,government and other non-government organisations.

MISG in conjunction with its sponsors and NVIRP has hosted a series of field days to showcase the amazing results farmers are having with innovative techniques to irrigation and crop production.

These field days not only encourage farmers in their water savings but also in crop production, farm and water sustainability, in this harsh climate.

The MISG website showcases field days, farm trials, and upcoming events, with an online panel of experts to answer farmer’s questions; with a link into industry related organisation’s and grants opportunities, and also links to sponsors sites,and the Small Communities Great Treasures Tourism Brochure.
The Murray Irrigators Support group with six members in October 2008 and has grown to over one thousand members in less than a year.
